Halesowen News Charity benefits from French student's work experience efforts A double glazing company has donated £100 to charity in recognition of a French student’s hard work. Nineteen-year-old Marianne Ramos so impressed her boss at LE Windows, Halesowen, during her six weeks of work experience that he wanted to make the gesture in lieu of wages. The student from Veynes in the Alps has been staying with a family in Halesowen and helping out with French lessons at Howley Grange Primary School one day a week to help her pass her English test in her baccalaureate qualification back in France. Lovell Ebanks, who runs LE Windows on the Belfont Trading Estate, said Marianne had done so well he chose to make the donation to the West Midlands Lupus Group. DATE: Saturday 15th May 2010
